Two New Forum Features Debut in SFI

White calculator on top of spread out dollar bills.
SFI is a very dynamic business and changes take place as a matter of routine. Here now are the latest.

New Feature #1

To streamline interaction at the forum and reduce clutter and unnecessary posts, we've just added a set of three new buttons--Thank, Congratulate, and Agree)--to every post.

So, instead of having to create a whole new post just to thank, congratulate, or agree with an author's post, just click the appropriate button instead.

Counts of each such action will also be reflected inside the circle beside each action. So if 193 fellow forum members agree with your post, you'll see "193" inside a circle beside the word "Agree." Hence, you'll always be able to see, at a glance, what forum members think of your post...or how many are thanking or congratulating you.

New Feature #2

Gratuitous liking of posts has become an issue on our forum. There are simply WAY, WAY too many likes being given for posts that add little to no value whatsoever. This activity defeats the whole purpose of the Likes program--which is to identify posts for readers that should be read or that contain meaningful information.

So, effective immediately, the Like button (thumbs-up icon) will not appear on any posts of less than 25 words.

Could this be circumvented? Could people simply just change from writing 3-word meaningless posts and try to expand them into 25-word meaningless posts? I'm sure some will try to exploit this new policy, but it will not be tolerated, and you WILL be banned if we see a pattern of it.

That said, you can still write posts of less than 25 words, of course. Just know that you won't be receiving any likes on these posts.

Bottom line: If you want to just say "thanks" or "congratulations" to someone, use the new THANKS or CONGRATULATE buttons. If you simply want to show that you agree with someone's post, use the new AGREE button. By doing these things, you'll help us keep our awesome forum tidy and enjoyable to use for all!

Meanwhile, if you want to elaborate, add reasons for why you agree with an author, or just make a longer statement, we encourage you to do so. Just make sure you're doing it because you've "got something to say," and not just because you're hoping to collect a few likes.

How to Motivate Affiliates to do More Activities in SFI

Internet business work station with computers, notepad and pen and some cookies in a bowl.
As always, I insist that the best way to motivate affiliates is to lead them by examples. Be proud to point out to them what you do, why you do it and the results you are getting. Specifically, let them know how these results are helping your SFI business. Many of your affiliates will always like to emulate you and be motivated to do so if they see these facts as self-evident.

Aside from logging into your affiliate center and doing the To-Do chores, here now are some other things you should encourage your affiliates to do and the benefits they stand to derive there from.

1. Read all information in the Alerts page TO get up-to-date information on what is new and hot in SFI and at the Forum.

2. Play the Trivia Games TO have fun, compete with fellow affiliates and win valuable items.

3. Participate in Pricebenders Auctions TO win valuable products/items at up to 95% off shelf price. You also get VPs, MRPs and PSAs as rewards.

4. Promote your SFI Gateways daily TO help you enroll new PSAs to meet your duplication efforts and deepen your downline.

5. Promote your TripleClicks and other Gateways TO generate sales, help enroll PRMs, ECAs, Wave 3 Members and earn real commissions.

6. Become a Wave3 Member TO get products at special reduced prices, earn TCredits, Download music and get many other benefits.

7. Advertise your SFI business like hell TO help grow it rapidly.

8. Read all the lessons/information/articles available in SFI TO help broaden your knowledge about the business. As you already know, “readers are leaders.”

9. Be a member of and participate at the Forums TO help you interact with fellow affiliates, learn the business and share valuable information.

10. Join the a2a for friendship and social interactions TO help you get invaluable assistance and advice from fellow affiliates.

11. Communicate regularly with your Team Members as an invaluable responsibility you owe them as their sponsor TO inform, encourage and motivate them in the business.

From the foregoing, if your affiliates know what they can also do in SFI and the benefits available to them for doing so which you are getting yourself, that from my own thinking is enough to motivate them to get involved in these other things besides the To-Do list.

How to Motivate Lazy and Unmotivated Affiliates

A team of affiliate marketers in work station with computers, mobile phones, notepads and sundry work tools.
I hardly know how to set apart lazy and unmotivated affiliates. I believe we all are to some degree. However, if you have affiliates you sincerely believe are lazy and unmotivated; I suggest you do the following:

1. Pay special attention to your communications with them.
2. Explore ways to “draw them out’ and get them to reveal to you why they are unmotivated.
3. Offer real incentives to them like TCredits and free slots in your co-operative.
4. Encourage them to freely communicate their problems to you.
5. Be sure they took the lessons at the LaunchPad.
6. Encourage them to join and be active at the forum.
7. Offer your hand of friendship to them.
8. Encourage them to read widely in SFI.
9. Implore them to take SFI tips and to use the free marketing tools provided.
10. Help them to promote their Gateways alongside yours.
11. Reassign some PSAs to them if you can afford to.
12. Encourage them to play the Trivia games and to join the fun in SFI.

I believe if you are able to do some or all the foregoing, some of your lazy affiliates may become active.
