Hurray!!! New Visual Genealogy Debuts at SFI

SFI marketing group banner.

We're excited to debut a brand new tool for team building, the Visual Genealogy. The Visual Genealogy (https://www.sfimg.com/Genealogy/Visual) performs many of the same functions as the regular Genealogy, but it's much simpler: it uses the account photos of your team members! And, most importantly, it's designed to align precisely with the objectives of The Diamond Plan (https://www.sfimg.com/the_plan). That is, the Visual Genealogy is designed to help you visualize, manage, and build a 5-wide organization, just as The Diamond Plan recommends (and also what Opti-Build and Builder Bundles were created to support).

If you're new in SFI, the new Visual Genealogy can help you identify your five future Diamond Team Leaders. Or, if you're a more experienced SFI Team Leader, and you already have one or more Designated Diamonds on your first generation (identified by the diamond icon in front of their name), they will automatically populate the up-to-five first-generation slots on your Visual Genealogy (with your other top PSAs--selected by rank/activity--automatically filling in any slots not occupied by Designated Diamonds).

Special Note: A non-Designated Diamond occupying one of the five slots does NOT mean they'll become a Designated Diamond. Similarly, it does not mean they're persons you must embrace as your future stars. Rather, we're simply using an algorithm here to identify for you your most active persons (as we do on your Movers tab) to help you see who could be a top-five person. Ultimately, this will be up to you and them if they become one of your actual Designated Diamonds. In fact, one or more of your future five Designated Diamonds could be persons who haven't even joined your team yet.

The initial screen of your Visual Genealogy will display YOU at the top of your team and up to five PSAs (your top five Personally Sponsored Affiliates). From here, you can "step down" generation by generation by clicking on any person's name. When you click on a name, the screen will automatically redraw and now display that person's front line.

TIP: To see a person's Affiliate Snapshot, click on their photo.

Why it is Important for Team Members to Take on Leadership Roles

Three persons working in internet business work station with computers.

When you take a critical look at SFI 3-step plan for success, you will get to appreciate more why it is important to have your team members take on leadership roles. Here is the plan:

Take these 3 steps and you will succeed in your SFI business.

1. Become an Executive Affiliate, EA and remain an EA every month.

2. Recruit 5 Affiliates using every convenient marketing method.

3. Teach your 5 Affiliates to do these same 3 steps.

That’s it! You can earn a full-time income or more with this 3-step plan. If by this plan you can get 5 really good leaders who get 5 good leaders, you will have 25 leaders in your 2nd line and 125 in your 3rd line. That is the beginning of a very profitable SFI business. It can go on exponentially like that for up to 12 levels. That is where the really big boys/gals in this business who are Platinum Team Leaders derive their power and status from.

Now you can see that without team members taking on leadership roles, this plan can’t work. That is the singular reason why it is very much important to be a perfect leader by guiding your team members into leadership roles. I do admit that it takes time and a lot of sifting through many affiliates to find the 5 who can effectively step up to the plate. That requires a lot of hard work, dedication, discipline and focus on the part of the team leader. Becoming a great team leader surely takes a lot of efforts. You must find ways to motivate your team members, inspire them, coach them, and lead them by example with a view to making team leaders out of them. That is what is best for you are your business.

From the foregoing, I believe you can see clearly now why it is very important to have team members take on leadership roles.

How to Manage Your Team through Many Cultures and Time Zones

A marketer's work station with a good view of inner city view. Onsite is a computer, a snack, books and a glass of beverage.
In SFI business, managing a team with many cultures and time zones is where your real leadership qualities come to the fore. Luckily for us, SFI is a 24/7 business online and the available tools do help a great deal to overcome cultural, language and time zone barriers. Taking full advantage of the tools provided, to manage your team successfully, you simply need to do the following.

1. Relate with all your Team Members as business partners and not as employees or dependents.
2. Lead by example always.
3. Respect their individual sensibilities as in culture and language barriers then find acceptable ways around them.
4. Appreciate individual differences and find ways to work with all persons irrespective of these differences.
5. Be open and receptive to all types of ideas and suggestions from your Team Members.
6. Be a reliable source of information and tips for the benefit of your Team Members.
7. Find credible ways to motivate and encourage your Team Members.
8. Communicate regularly with your Team Members in ways acceptable to them but be extremely temperate in your language.
9. Recognize and take time zones into account when making requests/demands from your Team Members.
10. Encourage them and show them how to be Team Leaders themselves irrespective of where they are and what their backgrounds are.
11. Encourage a two-way communication irrespective of language differences by using language translation tools provided.

I believe the foregoing can serve as credible ways to manage your team even with many cultures and time zones to navigate.

How to Get Past Fear of Success in SFI Business

Home business work station with a computer, a notepad and pen, flowers, bottle of water and a white cup of coffee.
First and foremost, I will get my team members to understand that Fear is a natural phenomenon in all affairs of people. Sometimes it is real and in most times it is imagined. That is why some writers refer to FEAR as an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Since it is natural and affects all of us, from our minds and actions, we can get past fear by allaying it and psyching it out the following ways.

1. You have nothing to fear in SFI business but fear itself.

2. Commence doing and do more of what you fear and you will conquer fear.

3. Take bold and courageous steps habitually and you will conquer fear.

4. Make good plans for your business and work those plans towards success.

5. Believe you will succeed and act that way, you will.

6. Try your hands on new things always and expect to succeed, you will.

7. Form the habit of asking your sponsors and mentors for help if and whenever in doubt.

8. Believe and work with the mindset that when nothing is ventured, nothing is gained.

9. Understand that SFI is a proven and tested business and the only way to fail in it is when you quit.

10. Get as much knowledge as possible about SFI as a business and your fear about the business will disappear.

11. Find ways to stay positive and enthusiastic about the business always and your fear will vanish.

12. Reconcile yourself with the fact that SFI is a business with its own ups and downs just like any other business.

If I manage to get my team members to understand the foregoing, I will gleefully tell them to get bold and get cracking all ye team members. Anyone can succeed in SFI business.
