“People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that they can do things. When they believe in themselves, they have the first secret of success.” ~ Norman Vincent Peale
There is nothing anyone can achieve in this world without their thinking making it possible. That is where achievement begins for everyone. Just name it, anything you feel like doing must first be well thought out. If not, chances of starting at all are very slim talk less of making any meaningful headway in form of progress. The thinking process helps to put the entire business or enterprise in proper perspective even before commencement. The thinking process gives the picture and the roadmap of what is to be done. Following what you’ve already thought about is a great way to measure progress and to be sure you are on course. Knowing you are on course at any point in time encourages more progress and eventual completion and success. Note that without what you already thought about, it is difficult if not impossible to follow this natural order.
If your thinking says it can be done, it will. If however it says it can’t be done, it is almost impossible to get it done. That is the real power of thoughts in the process of general achievements. First, you must believe you can and you will. Your thinking process makes that possible. If however you think you can’t, certainly you can’t. Putting efforts when your thinking says you can’t is one sure way to dissipate energy and time while achieving nothing. Some waste! That is clearly no way to go. To get anything done, you must first be sure you think it through before attempting to act it through.
Get busy right now because…. “No pains, no gains. To get the prize, you must pay the price.”

Why Our Thoughts Really Matter
“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. Thoughts are things! And powerful things at that, when mixed with definiteness of purpose, and burning desire, can be translated into riches." ~ Napoleon Hill
Thoughts are things. Real things! There is no achievement of man that did not first begin as a thought. There is nothing you can achieve as a human being without your thinking making it so. As a man thinks, so he is. Presently, the status of your business, your life and your living are direct products of how you think.
Do you own a car? Even if you don’t, at least you ride on cars. What about trains and airplanes you see everyday? Do you know how they work? The good news is that all these marvelous things came about as a result of the thinking of people. Real people just like you. Just think about that. It is thoughts which are transformed into tangible things which make our life and living worthwhile. Now that is marvelous!! You too can translate your thoughts into things and your life will be much better for it.

Why You Must Develop a Positive Self-Esteem
“We are what we
believe we are” –Benjamin Cardozo
If you think you can, you can. If however you think you
can’t, you certainly can’t. Poor self-image is the primary reason why people
are fatalistic in their thinking. They become incurable pessimists who always
see the negative side of things. They think negatively thereby inhibiting their
abilities even without trying. Your attitude must be sufficiently positive for
you to be an achiever. Borrow from nature and be like the Bumblebee. The
Bumblebee is by all standards a very big insect. Scientists have studied it and
came away with the conclusion that it can’t fly. They believe that its body is
too big and its wings too light and small that aerodynamically it should not
fly. However, the Bumblebee does not know this and it flies. So it is with us
humans. The only limitations we have in life are those we place on ourselves.
What you think you can do is what matters not what others think. You can never
escape mediocrity or get anywhere in life if you wait for the approval from
other people before you commence. Believe in yourself.
You can’t afford to be like the eagle whose egg from which
it hatched fell from the eagle’s nest and landed in the chicken’s nest. The egg
was incubated by the chicken and hatched along with the chicken’s eggs. It was
raised with the chickens with which it was hatched and it believed it was a
chicken. It lived its life like a chicken. All through its life, it kept
admiring eagles when it saw them soaring and wished it could fly like them.
Unknown to it, everything it needed to fly was there but mentally it believed
it could not and it never did until it died still believing it was a chicken. You
will agree with me that the only limitations this eagle had were those it
mentally placed on itself. You as a human being can always avoid this type of
mental trap if you choose to. All you need to do is to believe you can and you
will. That is positive self-esteem.
