Why You Should Consider Trying Powerlining in SFI Business

A fan-spread of dollar bills held in both hands of a female over her blue jeans folded legs.
In SFI business, "Powerlining" is based on building lines straight down, one person after another. Typically, you'll go VERY deep. Indeed, you may want to build your Powerlines hundreds of people deep!

Why would you want to build a line so deep, especially when direct compensation is essentially limited to a maximum of 12 generations? Simply put, it's all about LEVERAGE...and the power that leverage can generate for the generations you are paid directly on.

Here are the real benefits:

1. Maximum leverage. Persons you sign up into a Powerline can experience a substantial amount of downline activity, all of which can result in them becoming active so as to maximize their position. This of course can have a big, upward "domino effect." That is, if people lower in the line are becoming active (i.e. becoming Executive Affiliates), it's going to naturally motivate and incentivize persons higher in the line (closer to you) to also become active. For example, a new EA that pops up 50 levels below you in your Powerline could generate numerous additional EAs above as this "activity momentum" grows exponentially with each new upgrade to EA in the line.

2. You are the "Originator" for all sign-ups you place in your Powerlines. And per our 10/1/19 change in Direct Commission rules, you'll be earning 25% Direct Commissions on every one of your sign-ups whose sponsor (the person in the Powerline immediately above them) is not an EA. Yes, you can earn the Originator 25% commissions regardless of the generation placed...50th, 500th, 5000th, whatever; there's no limit!

3. You'll put to work for you what will quite possibly be SFI's most powerful and dynamic follow-up system we've ever built. For example, provided you're signing up at least one new affiliate a day into your Powerline, your sign-ups are going to be alerted DAILY to new activity under them and more. And these notifications will take different forms for maximum impact (emails, special Affiliate Center alerts, and more). Just advertise and bring in new people and our system will go to work for you!

4. Accelerated roll-ups. We appreciate that you don't want to place people 500 generations below you and have to wait for many months before they roll up closer to you (into your pay range). Hence, for Powerline sign-ups, we'll be using a special roll-up process. In short, any of your Powerline sign-ups who fail to go EA in their first 60 days will automatically roll up to the first upline EA in the Powerline and become one of their PSAs. The result can be a rapid compression and repositioning of most or many of your Powerline sign-ups to within 12-generations. From there, the standard Active Sponsor Policy can generate further roll-ups and compression over time.

5. You'll be able to use our awesome new Powerline GATEWAY. You can use any SFI Gateway with a Powerline key code to build Powerlines. However, if you want your prospects to know in advance that they'll be joining your Powerline (or you want to promote Powerline benefits to entice your prospects to join SFI), you can use the new Powerline Gateway we've created. Note that you'll have to be an EA, AND you'll have to have started a Powerline and be actively adding new sign-ups (a minimum of 5 per week) to use this special new Gateway.

Welcome to Powerline, a Major New Team-Building System in SFI Business

A black-clad female counting dollar bills.
NEW in SFI business! We're excited today to debut a new system/tool for building lines in your organization. It's called POWERLINE, and it's a new option for all SFI affiliates.

"Powerlining" is based on building lines straight down, one person after another.

Example:
In more traditional promotions, you might sign up 100 people and equally distribute them amongst, say, five of your PSAs. That would mean that only five people received new downline members.

With Powerline, however, because each sign-up is placed one person after another, it means that when you signed up that 100th person...99 people got notified of a new downline member! And the people closer to the top of that Powerline, they've been notified of 70, 80, 90, nearly 100, new downline members!

Might these notifications cause at least some of the persons in the Powerline to take notice and want to become active? It certainly could, and our past experience using Powerline systems bears this out. So it's absolutely something every builder in SFI should at least consider testing to see if it works for them.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR MEMBERS OF POWERLINES

1. As a Powerline member, they have an upline member essentially building their first leg in SFI for them! That's pretty powerful all by itself...but that's not all. That Powerline is also naturally "full of leverage," which means they can benefit from all the activity and commissions and overrides that that leverage creates as the line grows downward.

2. As a Powerline grows downward, it will naturally "sprout" numerous offshoots, both of the Powerline variety, and also when members simply start signing up their own PSAs. This of course creates additional opportunities for more sales and earnings.

3. A special rewards program! The new Powerline system is also going to test awarding Rewardicals for downline growth. In short, for their first 60 days, for every person added to the Powerline under them (by the upline Originator), all Powerline members will have the opportunity to earn Rewardicals, which they'll "bank" and be able to receive into their account on their 61st day--provided they've qualified as an Executive Affiliate within 60 days of joining. Tip: The new LaunchPack is a perfect fit here!

Real Challenges to Success in SFI Business

Internet work station with a computer, notepad and pen.

From my own experience, my greatest challenge to success in SFI business was MARKETING my business. Because I was unable to market my business effectively, I faced very tough challenges in selling products at Tripleclicks and even recruiting PSAs. I found out to my chagrin that because I could not recruit real active PSAs to grow my downline, succeeding in SFI became a real challenge. This challenge was exacerbated because:

- I was too shy to talk to people.
- I was not very good in Internet marketing.
- I could not advertise my business effectively.
- My budget was very low for advertising.
- I was not learning very fast.
- I was not very optimistic.
- I was not even enthusiastic.
- I thought I was not smart enough for this kind of business.
- I did not believe in the usefulness of advertising my business.

How did I overcome these challenges? I sat down and thought long and hard. You know, I even considered quitting the business at some point. My saving grace was that I turned to fellow affiliates including my upline for help. That is what changed my thinking. That is when I discovered that all these factors which hitherto inhibited me from marketing my business effectively can be overcome by deliberate efforts. These efforts include reading/learning the business thoroughly, following the rules and using the tools provided to grow your business. Your upline, your sponsors and your a2a friends can also help you out to find a way to market your business effectively. From my experience in SFI, fellow affiliates willingly give to other affiliates free tips to market their business. This is aside from the free tips SFI Admin makes available to all affiliates on very regular basis. I have over time found these tips/opportunities to be very useful and have actually been using them. My business has been on the upswing ever since.

How to Communicate with Your Upline Sponsors

Affiliate business work station with a computer and a smartphone.
I will say right away that you can communicate with your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor as often as the need arises. There is no Sponsor in SFI worth his salt who will feel bothered by inquiries from her PSAs or CSAs. Instead, it is communications down-line that may bother some affiliates particularly if they are new to the business and the messages are too frequent. Communications up-line can not bother Sponsors and Co-sponsors because they are more experienced in the business and they have an inescapable responsibility to sponsor and mentor their PSAs and CSAs. That responsibility comes with a lot of communication since affiliates in SFI can be located anywhere in the world.

Frequent communications up-line are a direct indication that the affiliate down-line is curious about the business and wishes to learn quickly. A good Sponsor latches on to this sign to help the affiliate out as often as an inquiry comes up to the Sponsor. This is bearing in mind the enormous importance of active affiliates to the growth and development of even the businesses of Sponsors and Co-Sponsors themselves. My friend, my best advice therefore is that you can communicate with your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor with any convenient and acceptable means of communication as often as you want if your inquiries directly relate to learning and growing your business in SFI.

Best Way to Help Your PSAs Understand SFI Business

Home business work station with a computer, notepad, mobile phone, a white mug, table lamp and flowers.
The best way to help your PSAs to understand SFI is to be an excellent and outstanding sponsor yourself. If you are, you will ensure that your PSAs read and understand SFI basics and Launchpad lessons very thoroughly before they embark on any major business in SFI.

- After that, encourage your PSAs to ask you questions in relation to their SFI business. From the kind of questions they will be asking you, you can easily detect how much of the business they have mastered and how much help they further need from you.

- Encourage them to join A2A and to interact fully with the members.

- Encourage your PSAs to participate fully in the FORUMS as well as ASK SC.

- Make sure they know “SFI Rules of Success” and they are complying with the rules.

- Encourage them to communicate freely upline and downline as the need arises.

- Show them how to use their Gateways to recruit PSAs and to market products.

- Once they have mastered the basics of the business, encourage them to log into their sites daily to do their Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and other Actions to grow their VP Ledger as a way of earning money in SFI.

Doing all these things and a little bit more will help your PSAs to understand SFI as a business.

Common Mistakes to Avoid When Building Your Downline

Home business bedroom scene work station with a computer, eye glasses, pillows and a white mug of creamy beverage.
Every SFI affiliate who seriously wants to succeed in the business needs a very active and viable downline. That is where PSAs come into the picture. The interesting thing about SFI is that every affiliate who has a downline also has an upline. That means someone’s upline is somebody else’s downline. Coming to your question, the “Golden Rule” of that relationship is….”Do not do to your downline what you will not want your upline to do to you.” If you adhere strictly to that rule, you can manage to avoid nearly all the mistakes many sponsors usually make.

Arising from that conclusion, I am inclined to draw your attention specifically to the following common mistakes:

- Dealing with your downline as if they are your employees instead of business partners.
- Bossing it over your downline.
- Getting too personal.
- Prying into your PSAs personal life.
- Dealing with your downline as if they are not human beings.
- Misleading your downline.
- Not attending to their concerns promptly.
- Attempting to run the business for your downline.
- Too frequent/meaningless communications with your downline.
- Pushing your downline to do the things they are unwilling to do.
- Totally ignoring your downline.
- Inducing your downline with financial rewards.
- Criticizing your downline.
- Finding faults with your downline.

In SFI, nearly all affiliates have at one time or another made some or even all of these mistakes. As a new affiliate who wants to build a viable downline, it is always advisable to take the advice of SFI as it relates to sponsoring affiliates. Check it out on this link:

In there, you will be acquainted with the Dos and Don'ts of sponsoring. If you study them very well and keep to them, you will manage to avoid many of the common mistakes most new affiliates make when building their downlines.
