Making Customers Happy by Creating a Raving Fan Culture

A team of skipping happy customers.

“Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.” - Jim Rohn

Every business is all about making customers happy and satisfied. Any entrepreneur who is able to do this consistently inevitably becomes a successful entrepreneur. In human relations, nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. These days, thanks to Bruce Temkin, some businesses have been able to create a “raving fan” customer culture through the acronym “C-A-R-E-S”. Here is how it can be applied to make unhappy customers happy. Note carefully that each step is very important to the process. Whenever any of your customers shows any signs of unhappiness through a feedback question/reaction, you know it is time to switch to your CARES mode of:

(C), Communication: Clearly communicate the process up front and set proper expectations.

(A), Accountability: Take responsibility for resolving the situation or getting an answer in a satisfactory manner.

(R), Responsiveness: Take initiative; don’t make the customer wait for your communication or a solution.

(E), Empathy: Acknowledge the impact that the situation has on the customer.

(S), Solution: Be results oriented; ensure the question is properly answered and the issue is resolved.

If you manage to build a company that truly CARES about its customers using above steps, you somehow earn their eternal happiness. The happiness of your customers translates to good business for you. Happy customers are happy partners for good business. This you can achieve by caring for them and making “raving fans” out of them in the months and years ahead.

How to Convince PSAs and CSAs to Work SFI Business

Purple flowers, a calculator, a mug of coffee, a black pen on a note pad on top of a work table.
It is difficult to convince your PSAs and CSAs to work SFI business because they are all human beings with various degrees of motivation. Even though as your question states it is difficult, that does not mean it is impossible to convince them to work the business. Many affiliates do succeed in convincing their PSAs and CSAs to work SFI business but with various degrees of success.

Even at that, despite all its advantages, it is difficult to convince your PSAs and CSAs to work SFI business because of the following reasons.

1. Human beings are motivated differently and for different reasons.
2. SFI as a business is a bit complicated for new PSAs and CSAs at the beginning.
3. Many PSAs and CSAs do not really believe in the benefits in working SFI business as prescribed.
4. The returns in SFI as a business are more long-term based than short term.
5. Many people have been scammed online by various get-rich-quick schemes so many have become very wary of any online business.
6. Your PSAs and CSAs are your business partners and not your employees so there is a limit to what you can convince them to do.
7. Your PSAs and CSAs are internet entrepreneurs like you are and some may actually know SFI business more than you do.
8. Your relationship with your PSAs and CSAs is more interpersonal than personal. That makes it pretty difficult to convince them to do what you want.
9. Your PSAs and CSAs have unrestricted access to information in SFI and they take most of their decisions based on this information.
10. Many of them may not trust you enough to do all you want.
11. Every business owner takes full responsibility for taking all the major decisions which affect his/her business.
12. Human beings as of habit do not like to be told what to do particularly as it affects their businesses.

From the above and very many other reasons too numerous to mention here, it is easy to discern why despite all its advantages, it is difficult to convince your PSAs and CSAs to work SFI business.

Best of luck!!!

How to Help Your Affiliates Adequately

Two female hands holding two dollar bills, wrist watch, bangle and a ring on the hands.
In SFI business, affiliates constitute a major live-wire for your survival as a business person. Just like your own offspring, you can’t afford to help them too little. I therefore believe that there is no such thing as TOO much unless you are unable to respect the fine line between the permissible limits. You do have an obligation to help your affiliates to succeed in this business and to achieve the best success possible. Your physical, moral and or financial help to them is very vital in that quest. It is better too much than too little because you never know how much help they may need at any particular time because of individual differences and the vicissitudes of every day business.

Helping your affiliates is one viable way to help yourself. Since there is no way you can ever help yourself too much, it follows therefore that there is no way you can ever help your affiliates too much. The bottom-line though is to always respect the fine line between genuine help and pampering. That is the key.

You also need to be conscious when rendering help to your affiliates that they are your business partners and not employees or dependent siblings. Therefore, what really matters is to build a relationship with them based on mutual trust. If that is in place, all help can’t be too much and it will be mutually beneficial to all parties. Just do it within decent and acceptable limits. That is all.

What Affiliates Struggle with Most in SFI

SFI marketing banner

From my experience in SFI, the one thing affiliates struggle with most, is DUPLICATION particularly about getting serious and active affiliates. Since it appears to be a business-wide problem, everyone is grappling with it the way they deem fit. On my part, I always insist on the following to my affiliates.

1. Be very familiar with SFI awesome sponsor tips and use them as recommended.
2. Do not fail to regularly communicate with your affiliates.
3. Encourage and motivate them to keep sponsoring even if they are not getting serious and active affiliates.
4. Promote your SFI Gateways widely and intensely to recruit new affiliates.
5. Never fail to welcome your new affiliates when they join your team.
6. Follow that up always with “welcome to my team” cards.
7. Share your progress in the business with your affiliates.
8. Appreciate the modest achievements they have in the business and reward them if you can afford to.
9. Remember and identify with their anniversaries and congratulate them.
10. Encourage them to ask you questions and help them with good answers and references.
11. Take your affiliates as business partners and relate with them as such.
12. Encourage them to read widely in SFI and to imbibe all the business lessons.
13. Encourage them to join the various forums and to participate actively.
14. Advise them to have fun with the Trivia Games and the Auctions.

The foregoing are the things I do and recommend to my affiliates which I believe if done properly can help to alleviate the duplication problems we all face.
