“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” ~ Harriet Tubman
In the business world, it is always first a dream, then preparation and action. That is when something worthwhile gets achieved. Every great achievement of man starts with a dream. What you do with the dream is what determines what the dream becomes. You may be a big dreamer OK but without acting on your dreams, they remain dreams in perpetuity. Great achievers not only dream, they are notorious for always acting positively on their dreams. The real reason they are the ones who get to achieve so much. They just don’t dream, they act. Acting promptly on your dreams is one great way to succeed in any venture.
Just take a look around you. These skyscrapers you see, the airplanes, the trains, coaches, cars and lorries you are seeing were at some point merely dreams people dreamed about. These people acted on their dreams and the great wonders of the world became realities. It is surprising true, that if you can dream it, you can do it. The will to get things done is what makes the difference. Even in your personal life, dreaming of academic achievements, professional achievements and even material possessions begins with a dream. Acting on your dreams leads to meaningful and tangible achievements.

Why Regret Disappoints
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.” ~ Mark Twain
Whatever business you are in, wherever you do the business from, be sure you do it in such a way as to avoid regrets. Regretting is sad, it is sorrowful, it is painful and above all, it solves no problem. If I had known is the regular companion of Mr. Late and that is unhelpful to anyone who wants to succeed in any calling. If you have to do anything for the sake of your business, just do it. You can never know if it will be helpful or not until you do it. Getting things done adequately, appropriately and timely enough is the way to go, irrespective of the fears of failure. Everyone has some measure of fear at any time but the people who get things done inspite of their fears are the ones who really succeed to make worthwhile achievements.
If you try your hands on anything, you may or may not succeed at getting good results. What is certain is that with each try you must learn something either good or bad. If you don’t try at all, you learn nothing and you gain nothing. That is pathetic no matter which way you look at it. There is a tendency to be disappointment and thereby regret more about the things you didn’t do than the things you actually did. The losses are more, largely unknown, unquantified and even unquantifiable hence the huge regrets down the road. Pathetic no doubt! So, it is best to try your hands and do as many things in favor of your business than to do nothing. If you do nothing, you achieve nothing, leading to bigger disappointments and regrets.

Why you Need Abundant Faith to Get Things Done
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.
Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” ~ Helen Keller
Embarking on any business is like taking a leap of
faith. Most times, you know what you want to do but you can never be sure if
the results will come out as you expect. You take the plunge all the same
hoping with some measure of confidence that things will turn out right. Without
hope, nothing worthwhile can be successfully achieved in our world. With faith,
you get optimistic fairly easily. Optimism is what really fires everyone on to
get things done as planned. Without it, most times you find yourself stuck in
the starting blocks of what you have planned to do.
If you are determined
to achieve maximum success in your business, you must learn the principle that real
progress is made one step at a time.
If you take one step, with hope and optimism, you can take the second and the
third and the fourth and so on until you get the job done. When you are
building a house, all you need is a brick at a time added on until the structure
comes out. It is with hope and optimism you add these bricks because you believe
a building will result from your efforts. There lies your faith in the steps
you are taking. With hope, faith and
confidence, Football games are
won a play at a time. A department store grows bigger one customer at a time. Notice
how all these big accomplishments come about as a result of a series of little accomplishments
stringed together with hope, faith and optimism. Everyone gets these results
and really succeed provided they follow the rules.
Get busy right now because…. “No pains, no gains. To
get the prize, you must pay the price.”

The Power of Abundant Faith
“But first, you must
believe.”-- Peter Pan
Have faith in yourself. Have faith in God. This done, there
is no problem or obstacle known to man which you can’t effectively tackle.
Faith is therefore all about your belief system and it is a mind thing. If you think you can, you can. Remember
that the only limitations you have are those you place on yourself. Having
absolute faith in your abilities is what makes the major difference between
what you can achieve and what you can’t. What people say or think about you in
this wise count for nothing. You can do anything you think you can even if
others think otherwise. What you think is what counts the most hence you must
always have absolute faith in yourself and your abilities. What crowns your
efforts is your faith in God. He is the ultimate station of faith.
In the quest
for human progress and achievement, when everything else fails, people
generally turn to God. This is faith. Belief in God helps to build confidence,
conquers fear, emboldens and fires a person on to achieve. Faith is one of the
most powerful of all positive human emotions. People readily walk to their
deaths on account of faith. The Holy Bible tells us that “faith can move
mountains.” Faith moves people to achieve what ordinarily will appear daunting.
Faith is a state of the mind which gives life, power and impetus to your
thought process.
